We, our older students and our mentors, want to share our knowledge of robotics, get high school students involved in engineering and show them the excitement and rewards of science and technology. We strive to be involved in our community and are working towards including more mentorship programs in our program’s schedule. We hope that through this involvement in our community that we can draw students of all ages into the FIRST community.
We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) where the game/challenge changes every year and you only have six weeks to design, build, program, and test your robot. The team was founded in 2012 and is based out of Johnson Research and Development which is located in Atlanta, GA. We have been awarded the 2012 highest rookie seed during competition in Georgia and in 2013 we were the state champions Georgia.
